application

Grapheton’s probe technology is now available for a variety of application that can be tailored per customer’s specifications. The following are current standard product lines of Grapheton.

Standard Electrophysiology Recording Electrodes

Grapheton’s portfolio in this category includes probes for surface cortical electrical recordings such as ECoG (electrocorticography), depth recordings, and DBS (deep brain stimulation).

These probes come with several options:

16-channels
32-channels
64-channels

Spinal Cord Multi-Modal Electrophysiology Probes

Grapheton has introduced several probes in this category that can be used for animal models and discovery applications. Each probe set contains stimulation microelectrode, recording microelectrode, and neurotransmitter detection (serotonin, for example).

These probes come with several options:

8-channels

10-channels

Custom number of channels.

Brain Chemistry Electrodes

One of Grapheton’s unique advantages is the capability of its carbon-based microelectrodes to detect neurotransmitters such as dopamine and serotonin. These microelectrodes have been demonstrated to detect such neurotransmitters as sub 10 nM level that are clinically relevant and higher than the baseline concentrations.

These probes come with several options:

4-channels

8-channels

Custom number of channels.

MRI Compatible Electrodes

Another unique advantage of Grapheton’s carbon-based microelectrodes is the fact that they are MRI-compatible. Other microelectrodes which are typically made of thin-film metals interact with the magnetic field of MRI machines and could produce heat and uncomfortable vibrations.
